There are a few ways to connect with TeleLife, based on convenience preferences.

 

Whenever possible, transfer your customers directly to TeleLife by calling 888-800-6608, option 1. If that’s not possible, advise your customer that a Protective Life representative will be calling within 24 hours to complete the application by phone.

 

If your customer prefers to contact TeleLife directly, the information below can be provided:

Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. CT and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. CT

  • Prompt 1 = Customers calling to complete telephone interview
  • Prompt 2 = Paramed status/questions
  • Prompt 3 = Application packet, life insurance application status or underwriting questions
  • Prompt 4 = Enter party’s extension
  • Prompt 5 = Spanish-speaking customers calling to complete telephone interview

TeleLife will be calling from our dedicated toll-free number, listed above. Agents may want to provide this number to applicants or have them program into their cell phones.

Yes, the agent must be licensed in the application state in order to use TeleLife. The agent must also be appointed prior to solicitation in Pennsylvania only.

Use iPipeline’s iGO drop-ticket platform for electronic submissions. Visit the Allstate iPipeline Gateway page and click the link to launch the iGo e-applications.

No. The TeleLife application process has been designed to eliminate the need for some APSs. Any APS that may be required will be ordered automatically.

TeleLife will contact the applicant within 24 hours of receiving the electronic application to complete the phone interview. If applicant is not available, TeleLife will use multiple contact methods including text reminders, phone calls, and emails to remind the customer to complete their interview (important to remember to submit a cell phone number and email address). If the applicant is not available, TeleLife will attempt to remind the applicant to complete the telephone interview five times. The toll-free number and hours of operation will be provided in each reminder. Application interviews not completed after five reminder attempts will be suspended by the TeleLife team. Applications can be reopened at the customer’s request by calling 888-800-6608, option 1.
