As we look back on 2024, it’s clear that the year brought its own set of challenges, as every year does. However, together, we overcame them and achieved remarkable things, all while staying true to our mission: to protect our customers.
Let’s take a moment to reflect on some of our major accomplishments this year:
- Over 13,000 Allstate customers were successfully insured.
- We placed $6.5 billion in death benefit coverage.
- We generated $18.5 million in life premiums.
These numbers are more than just figures—they represent the families we've helped protect. Because of your hard work and dedication, these families now have the peace of mind knowing they’re covered in case the unexpected happens.
I want to personally thank you for your unwavering support, for your business, and most importantly, for the incredible ways you’ve helped us serve these families. This year also saw some exciting developments, including the launch of our enhanced protection sales support team:
Product Updates:
- We introduced the Conversion ChoiceSM rider with ExtendCareSM that can be added to new Protective® Classic Choice term policies. The rider provides customers with more time to convert to a wider range of permanent solutions, plus chronic illness protection upon conversion—without the need for additional underwriting or exams.
Process & Underwriting Improvements:
- We further reduced average cycle time by 3 more days, building on the 1-week reduction made in 2023.
- We increased maximum face amounts for accelerated underwriting through PLUS, now available for up to $2 million for those aged 45 and younger, and up to $1 million for those up to age 60.
- We made significant progress in leveraging Electronic Health Records (EHRs), achieving a 4% increase in our hit rate in 2024, and utilizing medical data more effectively.
- We removed barriers allowing agents outside New York to submit business in the state, and New York agents to submit business nationwide.
Partnership Highlights:
- We celebrated the Allstate Due Diligence Meeting in Birmingham, AL! Thank you to everyone who participated and helped elevate their business while continuing to protect customers in new ways.
- Seven Allstate professionals were honored for their achievements in Protective’s Summer Showdown.
