Losing a loved one is never easy. We want to make the process of filing an insurance or annuity claim as simple as possible. Our online resources make it easy to submit a claim and stay informed during the process.

The claims process

Caring for beneficiaries is important to us. A claim may be started online or via phone, and we will be with them throughout the process.
Notify us
Notify us online or by calling 1-800-424-1592. We'll need beneficiary information, and the deceased's name, policy number or Social Security number, dates of birth and death, cause of death, and country of death.
File a claim
Beneficiaries return a claim packet with the required information, including a certified copy of the death certificate and some identification documents.
Receive funds
Once the claim is approved, we will send out the benefit payment within 1 business day.
Financial counseling
After receiving a benefit payment, we recommend that the beneficiary contacts their financial professional or we can provide resources to help them.*
